Description
Globally true magnitude of child sexual abuse is hidden because of its sensitive and illegal nature. Most children and families do not report cases of abuse and exploitation because of stigma, fear and lack of trust in the authorities. This study aims at establishing the effect of child sexual abuse on school performance among secondary school students in Mavoko Sub County, Machakos County. The objectives of this study were to examine the forms of CSA, the effect of CSA on school performance, social behaviour of CSA and school retention rate of CSA. The study was based on the descriptive-survey design. The target population was 3486 form three students divided into 14 strata that is corresponding to each of the 14 public secondary schools. Only 10% of students in form three (3) per school were targeted and to make a sample size be 84. The data was collected using semi structured questionnaires and interviews to school’s principals which were analysed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 24. Descriptive statistics such as: frequencies, percentages and means were calculated. Inferential statistics such as (Multiple Regression Analysis) were used to test the relationships between the independent (academic performance, social behaviour performance and school retention) and the dependent variables (forms of sexual abuse). The findings of the study show that there was a statistically significant relationship between the level of sexual abuse and the practice of various forms of sexual abuse (r=0.872, p<0.05). The most common forms of sexual abuse were verbal sexual abuse, involuntary kissing, or being sexually touched. There were also cases of attempted oral, anal or vaginal penetration. Further, some students were forced to watch pornographic pictures, drawings, films, videotapes, or magazines The findings also show that there was a significant relationship between sexual abuse and school social behaviour performance (r=0.909, p<0.05). Sexual abuse led to various negative school social behaviours. It meant that some of the students did not trust other people, felt lonely, and experienced stressful inner tension. It also led to mood rapidly changing in terms of anxiety, anger, and depression. There was a significant relationship between sexual abuse and academic performance (r=0.920, p<0.05). Due to sexual abuse, some of the students did not feel interested in classwork and, did not concentrate on class activities. Most of them were also not happy with academic performance and were always absent-minded in class. Pearson correlation analysis also showed a significant relationship between sexual abuse and school retention (r=0.933, p<0.05). Sexual abuse made some students feel that nobody cared about them in school and some decided to drop out. Some felt vulnerable and felt out of place in school. They never felt at ease in school and often decided to drop out. There were instances of students dropping out of school after being sexually abused due to pregnancy, stigma, early marriages, and stigma among others. The study recommends the need to put in place measures aimed at educating students on some of the disregarded forms of sexual abuse. The school administration should promptly identify and curb the tolerance of some of these forms of abuse among students. Counselling measures should be enhanced to check the negative psychological effects of child sexual abuse such as negative school social behaviour. Students who were victims of sexual abuse should be encouraged to remain in school.

DESIGN OF REINFORCED RETAINING WALL PROJECT REPORT
To achieve the objective of this study as stated earlier, the visit companies and offices in order to get the data which will help me to get better result and produce a good report of my research project. This work will be arranged in this way,
Step1; to deal with descriptive study and documenting which show how kabaya terrain is look like and carrying survey and site investigation.
Step2; to produce descriptive study showing drawing based on data will be obtaining
Step2; to assess cost estimation by using appropriate concept

STRUCTURAL AND ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN OF FOUR STOREY MULTI-SHOPPING COMMERCIAL BLOCK PROJECT REPORT
This project entitled “Structural design of four-story multi-shopping commercial block in Kisii Town”. The objective the research was to conduct a technical detail and study on the implementation of Structure design of proposed four story commercial building in Kisii Town in order to solve the problems of our country to fit in vision of land use. Therefore, conducting this research project could be a sustainable solution to the above-mentioned problems. During this research, the analysis of structural elements was made by combining manual analysis, ArchiCAD 18 & Atlantis software for providing architectural plans, arcGIS software for creating and using maps, compiling geographic data, analyzing mapped information, dynamic cone penetration test for determining allowable bearing capacity of the soil, PROKON software for analyzing and designing of structures. The architectural drawings, analysis and the design of all elements of structure, cross sections and reinforcements were calculated. The study revealed that building dimensions are (21.30m*25.60m) and the minimum requirements steel bar in slab at the top four steel bars of ten diameters (4Ø10mm/m), bottom three steel bars of eight diameters (3Ø8mm/m). Beam at top four steel bar of twenty five diameters (4Ø25mm), bottom (4Ø20mm). For the column ground floor (8Ø25mm), first floor (8Ø20mm), second floor (8Ø14mm) and last (4Ø12mm), stairs (4 Ø 12), foundation (5Ø16mm)

STRUCTURAL DESIGN OF MORDERN THREE STOREY HOUSE WITH ROOFTOP TERRACE PROJECT REPORT
This work explores the complexities and challenges of designing a three-storey modern house in Kisii Town, Kisii County. In response to rapid urbanization and the essential role of housing in Kisii County(World Bank, 2018;UN-Habitat 2018), there is an increasing demand for modern, sustainable, and community-oriented residential spaces. This study was conducted to help meet the need for modern housing in Kisii County, as the County faces many challenges in providing adequate and sustainable homes.
The project explains the design and modelling of a G+2, three-storey modern house using Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional 2024(Autodesk 2023), as it provides a clear vision through design, construction, and documentation. With the advancement of technology, the use of software to solve numerous problems in every technical discipline problems that formerly took a long time has become quite common. As a result, the use of software technology in civil engineering to analyze, design, and predict the behavior of structures before their lifespan has increased dramatically over the last decade(Kasthurirangan, 2021).
The research focused on designing a modern house with a rooftop terrace, taking into account practical use, visual appeal, safety, and economic viability. Archi CAD 28(Graphisoft, 2023) and Lumion 10(Act-3D, 2020) software were used for producing the architectural design, while Robot Structural Professional was employed for structural design and analysis, following the British Code as the design standar

STRUCTURAL AND ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN OF TWO COMMERCIAL BUILDING BLOCK PROJECT REPORT
This is a project for construction of two storey commercial building block. This project work “structural design of G+2 commercial building at Nyamache Sub County_ Kisii County sector is a part of fulfillment of advanced diploma as awarded of Kisii National polytechnic (KNP). It contains with conception, structural design which provides proper communication to all of users, this project gives more information about the design and analysis of commercial building. The final project report contains five chapters that are: General Introduction, Literature review, research methodology, system design, analysis and implementation and then Conclusion and Recommendation.
This project report also has been compiled referred to books of different authors and by using equation provided in codes of practice like; British standard used in design of the commercial building. The analysis of each structure members starts with evaluation of all loads that are expected to be carried by structure including self-weight. The structure design of this project detail, beam, slab, stair, column, and foundation by BS8110.
Based on result, the detailed plans of this.
