Description

The purpose is to equip students with data collection skills, correlations, analysis, hypothesis formulation and testing methods. The objectives are for students to learn skills such as computing correlation coefficients, regression analysis, hypothesis testing and non-parametric statistics. The course content is spread out over 14 weeks covering topics such as correlation, regression, sampling, hypothesis testing, tests of proportions and non-parametric methods. Students will be evaluated through exams, a tutorial assignment and a final exam.
