1. Soma kifungu kifuatacho kasha ujibu maswali.
Takribani kila mzazi alimbebea mwanawe chakula isipokuwa sungura. Walifanya hivyo licha ya kuwa watoto
walirudi shuleni siku chache zilizopita.
Hata
hivyo wengine waliona mbele wakapinga, udekezaji huo.
Mazozano ulipokuwa ukipamba moto, mwanawe Sungura aliyekuwa akivaa kilalahoi aliingia mkutanoni.
Alipoulizwa

Grade 9 Mathematics
The Grade 9 Term 2 Mathematics scheme of work emphasizes measurement, area, and volume of solids, alongside mass, weight, density, time, distance, and speed. Learners begin with properties of polygons and progress to calculating areas of shapes such as pentagons, hexagons, prisms, pyramids, cones, spheres, and circle sectors. They then explore surface areas and volumes of solids (prisms, pyramids, cones, spheres, frustums) through nets, models, and real-life applications. Later lessons focus on mass, weight, and density, including unit conversions, formulas, and practical experiments. The scheme concludes with time, distance, and speed activities, linking mathematics to everyday contexts. It integrates group work, digital tools, experiments, and peer assessment to build problem-solving skills and practical application of mathematics.

Grade 9 Pre-Technical Studies
The Grade 9 Term 2 Pre-Technical Studies scheme centers on tools and practical projects. Learners study holding and driving tools—their identification, uses, safe handling, care, and importance—before applying skills in community-based projects that involve problem identification, item design, material selection, cost estimation, and construction. The program concludes with entrepreneurship, introducing financial institutions and services, and showing how they support innovation and development. It blends hands-on practice, teamwork, creativity, and real-world application.

Grade 9 Social Studies
The Grade 9 Term 2 Social Studies scheme highlights population, peace, relationships, landforms, and river projects. Students learn the role of population structure in resource distribution, explore peacebuilding through personal, cultural, and emotional intelligence, and practice sustaining healthy relationships while overcoming barriers. They study topographical maps and human activities, then move to internal land-forming processes like faulting, rift valleys, and continental drift. Finally, they examine multipurpose river projects in Africa (River Tana, Aswan High Dam), their conditions, benefits, and challenges. It blends civic awareness, geography, and development studies into practical learning.
