The course deals with benzene, its derivatives and other benzenoid compounds. Structure of benzene aromaticity of benzene and related compounds will form the first part of the course. Nomenclature of benzene and its derivatives are dealt with in details since this will form some of the products of the reactions in the lessons that follow.

In this lesson, we will learn the basic concepts of development and underdevelopment. We will also briefly discuss some of the theories of development. These are the classical theory, modernization and dependency theories. Some of the recent theories such as the world systems theory will also be introduced.

People can become infected with HIV from other people who already have it, and when they are infected they can then go on to infect other people. Basically, this is how HIV is spread.
