Anatomy is the study of structure of human body. Study of anatomy helps in understanding the functions of body. Herophilus (335-280 BC)born in Chalcedon inAsia Minor (now Kadiköy, Turkey),and later moved to Alexandria is called the ‘Farher of anatomy’. Andreas Vesalius, a Flemish physician is referred to as the ‘ Father of modern human anatomy’.
