Herophilus (335-280 BC)born in Chalcedon inAsia Minor (now Kadiköy, Turkey),and later moved to Alexandria is called the ‘Farher of anatomy’. Andreas Vesalius, a Flemish physician is referred to as the ‘ Father of modern human anatomy’.

is a triggering event along with greater vulnerability (inadequate access to resources,
