Description
Skeletal animation is a technique in computer animation in which a character
is represented in two parts: a surface representation used to draw the character
(called skin or mesh) and a hierarchical set of interconnected bones (called
the skeleton or rig) used to animate (pose and keyframe) the mesh. While
this technique is often used to animate humans or more generally for organic
modeling, it only serves to make the animation process more intuitive and the
same technique can be used to control the deformation of any object — a door,
a spoon, a building, or a galaxy.
This technique is used in virtually all animation systems where simplified
user interfaces allows animators to control often complex algorithms and a huge
amount of geometry; most notably through inverse kinematics and other "goaloriented" techniques. In principle, however, the intention of the technique is never to imitate real anatomy or physical processes, but only to control the deformation of the mesh data.

These roles are sometimes unequal between the sexes. Universally societies and cultures demarcates rights, duties and responsibilities through gender

SSW307:CONTEMPORARY SOCIOLOGICAL THEORIES
The main objective of this course is to discuss and analyze sociological theories which are practiced today. However, it is worth noting that contemporary sociological theories are built on and corporates the classical theories and especially the works of Marx, Durkheim, Weber, Simmel and Mead. Therefore the approach into the understanding of contemporary sociological theories is to be acquainted with the works of classical writers (classical theorists) and the way their ideas are
incorporated into that of the latter writers (contemporary theorists).

Social Movements and Social Change
Social movements are purposeful, organized groups striving to work toward a common goal. These groups might be attempting to create change (Occupy Wall Street, Arab Spring), to resist change (anti-globalization movement), or to provide a political voice to those otherwise disenfranchised (civil rights movements). Social movements create social change.
